New Resource from the NEA Will Monitor the Health and Vitality of the Arts in the U.S.
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is set to launch the Arts Indicators Project, a comprehensive online research tool designed to provide policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and the public with essential data and insights on the arts' role in society. This initiative, part of the NEA’s National Arts Statistics and Evidence-based Reporting Center (NASERC), will monitor key aspects of the arts ecosystem, including artists, arts participation, cultural assets, and arts education. The project aims to support evidence-based decision-making in the arts through regular statistical reports and will be introduced during a public webinar on April 2, 2024, featuring NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson and other experts.
At ArtsForEveryBody.org, our mission is to make the arts accessible and impactful for all communities, aligning with the NEA’s commitment to enhancing the understanding and value of the arts through comprehensive data and research.
