JamFest is a free and all ages event that highlights Seattle’s Chinatown International District’s rich historic, cultural, and artistic vibrancy through music, dance, mixed media installations, murals, games, and more. The event proudly celebrates the community’s Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander migrant roots and culture.

FridaFest/Arts For EveryBody Festival
The Edinburg initiative will culminate in an Art & Wellness festival, paired with our FridaFest, will promote arts, health and well-being, social connectedness, and a sense of belonging. The combined festival will feature the premiere of an original stage musical about Edinburg, highlighting our past, present, and future. There will be great local artists performing and demonstrating.
Homegrown Utica Fest
Homegrown Utica Fest brings together Utica and their neighbors to celebrate and showcase the continuing legacy of education, agriculture, and the arts in the rural self-determination of small town Mississippi. Opportunities to engage local food culture, the arts, and practical health and wellness will shape this joyful, family-friendly day.
MAMAW Fest: Mountains of Appalachia Music, Art, and Wellness Festival
Join us July 27, 2024 in Harlan County, Kentucky (pop. 25,000) for MAMAW Fest: Mountains of Appalachian Music Arts and Wellness Festival, presented by Higher Ground, a community performance project and part of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College. MAMAW Fest will bring local artists, vendors, musicians, and healthcare providers together to celebrate arts and wellness in Eastern Kentucky. Proudly partnering with One Nation One Project, the Cloverfork Clinic, and the Harlan County Fiscal Court.
Life is Living Festival
The Life is Living Festival is a free annual event that celebrates Oakland's culture, history, and diversity through hip-hop, art, health, and environmental action. It is organized by Youth Speaks, a nonprofit organization that empowers young people through spoken word and creative expression. The festival features live performances, workshops, graffiti battles, skateboarding, dance, and more.
Anita Concert Reading & Community Celebration
"Anita," a new musical in development at Borderlands Theater about Salvadoran girl orphaned at the border, will be presented free of charge at the Berger Center for Performing Arts. A community celebration follows with heritage food trucks and live music where he winners of a poster contest under the theme "Art is Vital" will be announced.
Higher Ground 10: Angels Unaware
Higher Ground 10: Angels Unaware (working title) is the tenth original theater production of Higher Ground, a community performance project that is part of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College. Angels Unaware centers how we take care of each other in Harlan County. The play features real stories from our community, live original music, and crackerjack choreography. The show runs July 19-25, 2024 at the Harlan Center (former Belk Department Store) in downtown Harlan, Kentucky.
